The University of Colorado Denver is a public research university in the U.S. state of Colorado. It is part of the University of Colorado system. The university has two campuses—one in downtown Denver at the Auraria Campus, and the other at the Anschutz Medical Campus located in neighboring Aurora. The single university is the result of the 2004 consolidation of the University of Colorado Denver and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.CU Denver, located in downtown Denver, and CU Anschutz, located in Aurora, serve approximately 4,000 graduate students each. Across the two campuses, we offer more than 100 master’s, doctoral and professional degrees from our thirteen schools and colleges. Popular graduate programs include architecture, business administration, education, public health, medicine, biomedical sciences, and public administration.
